Amazing Photoshoot Spots in Bali Recommended by Local Photographers

Amazing Photoshoot Spots in Bali Recommended by Local Photographers

Hello people,

Have you been to Bali? It is such an oh-so-magical destination! It’s no wonder Bali is one of the most popular vacation spots for nature lovers. To be honest, I’ve been there a couple of times before and I didn’t even know that some of these places existed. Read on and see if you’ve been to all of them. For those who have not been to Bali (why not?), bookmark this list when you’re ready to visit this beautiful island.

From me, my team mates and the local photographers who gave us this list. Enjoy!

A very scenic place to walk.  The walk itself is easy(flat and short), but a huge warning here – there are no shades throughout this route! So best time to go would definitely be early in the morning or in the evenings. There are also a couple of restaurants and cafes where you can take a short break from your photography session.

Less popular than Lempuyang gate, but that also means it’s much less crowded here. There’s still the expected queue and fees you need to take your photos with the gate, but if you reach early in the morning – then the experience will be so much better!

Amazing waterfall with lots of great photo opportunities. You have to arrive before 9am though, otherwise it’ll get really crowded and there can even be queues forming. You’ll definitely need your bathing suits for this spot though, and the rocks can also be quite slippery. But definitely still worth the effort! Just make sure you arrive before the crowd.

The famous T-Rex head of Nusa Penida. You can choose to hike down to the beach (but it’s REALLY challenging) or just stay at the viewpoint and take your photos there. The view is just gorgeous and it looks much more beautiful in person than in photos you see online. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Nusa Penida.

A really pretty place, both during low and high tide. This iconic place is a must visit when you are in Bali, but it can be quite challenging to get an Instagram worthy shot! I would say the best time to get great photos here would definitely be during sunset.

Breathtaking place with amazing views! Definitely a must visit when in Bali. It’s a fantastic location to take photos with your significant other or as a family. I’m telling you now you have to get a photographer for a photoshoot session here! It’s actually not hard to take a nice photo here because the scenery is just gorgeous – but you won’t regret it!

Great place to capture your next profile photo. It’s a little bit touristy (and pricy), but you can’t complain about the view. There’s local photographers around that will help you click that snap button for a fee and dresses for rent to complement the photo. It’s definitely a nice photo to add to your collection.

A serene and beautiful temple, this used to be a place for the royal family. The gardens are well maintained and there’s even huge koi fishes that you can feed. Definitely Instagram worthy, but it can get really crowded – especially at the more photogenic spots.

This place has two amazing cave waterfalls to get your photos taken. It take some effort to get to the place (wear waterproof shoes or flip flops because you’ll have to walk in water as you enter the cave) but the views will just blow you away when you get there. This place has gotten a little touristy as of late, but it’s not without any reason. Definitely a must go – if you have no mobility issues.

An incredible place to take photos and selfies. There are a lot of photo opportunities to take great photos here; so it can really be worth your time to get here. However just like most places in Bali, it can get very touristy and expensive! Just be prepared for that.

So that’s it! These are the places recommended by photographers. Have you been to them all? And if you’re ready to go to these places, be sure to reach out to our photographers. They’ll help to plan the perfect photoshoot session for you.
